Hi all: I left Merritton High after the first month of grade13 to attend Parkside Collegiate in St. Thomas, Ontario. After graduation, I attended Queen's University in Kingston to take a physical education degree. At Queen's, I met my wife, Marcia. We married in fourth year and attended McArthur College of Education following graduation. We moved to the Bruce Peninsula and started our teaching careers in 1973, Marcy at Bruce Peninsula District School and myself at Wiarton District High. ued to teach until she took time off to raise our two sons. Once both of them were of school age she returned to teaching at West Hill. I taught for 31 years at Wiarton High and retired in 2005 after an enjoyable career of teaching and coaching. We still live outside of Wiarton and enjoy the rural atmosphere and outdoor opportunities that this area provides. I still have fond memories of Merritton High and the many friends and classmates that shared that time . I wish all of you the very best of health and good fortune and would enjoy hearing from any of you.
